OSHA Council Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this policy explaining our online information practices.

Customer data


Customer data submitted through the OSHA Council website is subject to the same safeguards as information submitted through any other means and may be used in the same manner. We need to collect and use certain types of personal information about our members and others with whom we communicate.

Online subscriptions

The personal data that you submit to register for e-newsletters is kept on our database and not released to a third party. By providing this information you are allowing the OSHA Council to communicate to you electronically about our products and services, unless you state otherwise.
You can opt-out of receiving emails and other marketing information by logging into your account and changing your preferences to do so please write email to care@OSHA Council.org

Third parties

The OSHA Council never sells or otherwise passes on personal information to third parties. However personal details found on the find a consultant section are published with the permission of the individual.

We also collect Personally Identifiable Information when you ask that we send products or information directly to other people; in these cases, we will collect the information you submit about the recipient. When you ask us to send products or information directly to other people, you confirm that the recipient has appointed you to act on the recipient's behalf and has agreed to you providing the recipient's personal information to us and to our processing of it in accordance with this privacy statement. It will be clear when you are on a part of our website that requires personal information, because we will ask you for it.


Security

The OSHA Council has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure we have militated against such risks as loss or unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure of data.

The OSHA Council provides links to other websites. We have no control over these sites; in particular we have no responsibility for the privacy policies of these sites.

Cookies

We use your internet provider address/domain name, some tracking code on pages and cookies to collect anonymous aggregated statistics regarding numbers of visitors, countries of origin, pages visited, machine information and other similar site statistics. These statistics cannot be traced back to individual users. We use them to ensure that we are providing a good service to our users and to keep track of any technical difficulties.
