Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health

Internationally recognized Occupational Safety and Health Diploma by OSHA Council provides training through our outreach training centres (OTCs) worldwide.

OSHA Council Diplomas are globally recognized qualifications aimed at professional who worked as occupational safety and health practitioners and occupational safety and health advisors to excel their career in the field of occupational safety and health management.

Previous experience of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is the basis to pursue diploma qualification from OSHA Council; please refer to Diploma entry requirements under “steps to certification”. Completion of a OSHA Council Diploma provides an excellent growth opportunity for practitioners to grow in respective industry.

This qualification is widely taken to get expertise in the field of Occupational Safety and Health . This program develops ability to recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of occupational health hazards at workplaces. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health from OSHA Council within 6-8 weeks.

International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Management is divided into four Units:

UNIT A

Module 1	Occupational safety and Health (OSH) – Policy and Planning
Module 2	Occupational safety and Health (OSH) – Organize and Implement
Module 3	Occupational safety and Health (OSH) – Risk Assessment (JSA)
Module 4	Occupational safety and Health (OSH) – Review and Improvement

UNIT B

Module 1	Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health Management
Module 2	Fire Safety Hazards, Controls and Risk analysis
Module 3	Electrical Safety Hazards, Controls and Risk analysis
Module 4	Manuel Handling Hazards, Controls and Risk analysis
Module 5	Transport Safety Hazards, Controls and Risk analysis
Module 6	Physiological and Physical Safety, Preventive Measures

UNIT C

Module 1	Hazard Communication, Preventive Measures
Module 2	Workplace Safety and Health Promotion
Module 3	Environmental Management and Pollution Control
Module 4	Occupational hygiene, ergonomics, safety and risk management
Module 5	Emergency Planning for dealing with occupational hazards
Module 6	Personnel Protective Equipment and its Limitations
